Small-space priorities
- Vertical
- Stable
- Easy to clean
- Easy to store
- Multiple functions
A stable cat tree, window perch or approved wall-mounted system can add usable area without consuming much floor space. Position routes so the cat can get up and down comfortably.
A narrow vertical post, wall-mounted scratcher or horizontal board can fit where a bulky accessory cannot. The key is stability, preferred orientation and placement near routes the cat already uses.
Keep a small active toy set and store the rest. A lidded container can separate supervision-only items from solo-safe toys.
A bench near a window can become an observation spot; a shelf can create height; a storage ottoman can hold rotated toys. Any setup should remain stable and safe for the cat and people in the home.
